Memorial Day Weekend

We were so excited for this Memorial Day. My brother Sheldon is leaving on his mission to Costa Rica on  May 30th. This means that all of my siblings were able to get together and  hang out all weekend. Tioni and I arrived on Thursday night. Arlen came up with Shannon, Bre and Boston Friday morning. Friday was a busy day, we worked on building a new tree house for the grandkids. One of the best parts of this weekend was that my Sister Natasha and her family were here visiting from Olive Branch, Mississippi. She has 4 boys who had tons of fun on the farm.  Saturday, we drove to Twin Falls to go to Gurtie's Brick Oven Cookery, which is an all-you-can-eat pizza place. On the drive there we hit really bad rain storms, and saw 2 different funnel clouds. Kaehl and Breadon, 2 of my nephews rode with us and had fun playing a game where if they found a yellow car they could hit Uncle Arlen. It was not Arlen's favorite game (for obvious reasons). Sunday was a fun day where lots of other family came to visit and hear Sheldon talk in church. We had a taco bar and lots of delicious food. Monday we took family pictures which was also fun. Cameron (Natasha's husband) did a great job with the pictures. We had so much fun every night playing Settlers of Catan. We were up so late but it was well worth the memories.

I have always wanted a blog, but have never taken the time to set one up! But here goes! I will try to do some posts for important things that have happened this year such as having a beautiful baby Girl!

On May 7th We decide to take a family trip to see Tioni's new cousin. We drove to Twin Falls, ID to see Dylen Aaron Nathan Minchey. Look how huge Tioni looks next to him. Dylen was born premature and in this picture is 5.5lbs

    After we visited for a few hours, we drove to Paul to visit Mom and Dad Brown. We saw grandma's new calves, Stew and Sloppy Joe. And took a picture with grandpa's tractor. We also were able to get a picture with Great Grandma Coray. Tioni was good in the car and while we visited. She was wide awake for Grandpa Brown as he tried to get her to smile!
