By the time March 31st had hit I was ready to have this baby! Tioni decided to play her first April Fools joke on me and I started having contractions at 5am, so I really thought I was going to go into labor. However, jokes on me! The contractions stopped by Sunday evening and she decided not to join us! Monday morning we had our last Dr.'s visit, I was only dilated to about a 1 so my hopes of having the baby in the next day or two seemed to be slipping away. Tuesday I worked out in the morning with Kati hoping to get things moving, but nothing really happened so I went back at around 5:30 to walk more. About 40 min into my workout I thought my water had possibly broke, but I wasn't really sure and I didn't want to announce it to anyone I was with in case it hadn't. by the time I got home I knew it was my water breaking so I started to prepare to go the the hospital. Once Arlen came home from work at 10:30 we went into the hospital.
Once we were at the hospital it really seemed like people didn't believe me that it was broken but after the Dr did a successful pH test we knew our baby would be here within 24 hours! We were then given medication to help induce labor and we settled in for a long night. Mom came up in the morning but unfortunately things went pretty slow and she left around 2:00 my contractions had mostly stopped. We asked Sheldon to come up and he and Arlen gave me a priesthood blessing and within 20 minuets my contractions were starting to get to where they needed to be. after about 20 min of pushing we had our little Tioni at 4:04pm. She was absolutely beautiful!
Grandpa Hunsaker and Marilyn were able to attend. We had lots of fun afterwards at Shannon's house. We took tons of Pictures! When we came home we worked really hard to get good pictures of Tioni and Arlen's hands.
